Forget about a before/after comparison, we want to highlight the beautiful, cosmetically restored smile of this patient.
Dr. Low placed crowns from canine to canine on her upper arch. This helped correct some tooth misalignment, discoloration, and shape of these prominent teeth. Talk about a confidence boost for this fantastic patient!

For this patient, several root canals were required and then posts were placed to strengthen the teeth for zirconia crown placement.
Whether it is one filling or a big case like this, Dr. Low is meticulous. Patient care and satisfaction are the number 1 priority at BWD.

This patient had bumps on his front teeth and bright white spots. He came to BWD to have them cosmetically improved.
The bright white spots are a result of a condition called fluorosis which occurs when a child intakes too much fluoride while teeth are developing. Excess fluoride is usually the result of high fluoride concentration in the local water supply. These white spots can be treated with a pain-free procedure called ICON Smooth Resin Infiltration. It is a short appointment without the need for anesthetic.
He also had overdeveloped bumps on the edge of his front teeth called mamelons. These were smoothed with a fine diamond bur and evened out with tooth-colored composite resin. This was an easy fix for someone who had been self-conscious about their smile.

After orthodontic treatment, white lines or spots can appear as a result of decalcification around brackets. These white spots can be treated with a pain free procedure called ICON Smooth Resin Infiltration. It is a short appointment without the need for anesthetic.
In addition to ICON resin treatment, this patient received a thorough cleaning, had edges aesthetically smoothed, and in office whitening for a truly gorgeous, sparkling smile after orthodontic appliance removal.

This patient took a terrible fall and hit her face on the floor, knocking one tooth completely out and pushing two other teeth back toward her palate a fair amount.
The teeth were re-set in place and splinted with an orthodontic wire for 6 weeks while the teeth reattached to the bone. After healing, permanent ceramic crowns were made for a beautifully enhanced smile.
When teeth are knocked out, they can successfully be put back into the socket if done within the first hour. Simply put your tooth in a glass of milk until you get to the dentist to keep it from drying out.

This patient complained that their lower front teeth were “loose and painful” while chewing. Radiographs showed evidence of a large abscess surrounding the roots of the patient’s lower front four teeth. A past dentist had “patched” the loose teeth by splinting them together but had not addressed the reason why they were loose. We extracted all four loose teeth and made a zirconia bridge that permanently cemented to both canines. With the source of the infection removed, the area has completely healed, and the patient has a beautiful bridge for smiling and chewing!

Dr. Low crowned the front six teeth because of discolored old fillings and some decay. The darkest front tooth was still healthy enough for a crown but was more severely discolored because of an old root canal.
You can see the tooth shape, color, and symmetry were improved with each crown, resulting in an overall awesome new smile.

This patient came into the office because she did not like the “dark holes” between her lower front teeth. Bone loss and receding gums had caused the yellow root structure to show and dark triangle spaces to appear between the teeth. We were able to build up her teeth with composite resin and close the spaces between each tooth. This is an easy procedure and affordable option when compared to crowns or veneers.

This patient’s main concern was the “black triangles” between her lower front teeth due to mild bone loss and gum recession. Composite resin matching the shade of her teeth was used to build up the sides of the teeth closing the spaces. She’s been wanting to fix this area for some time and was thrilled with the results!

This patient presented with pain and swelling around one of his upper front teeth and did not like how crooked they were. The front tooth was very loose due to a large abscess and was erupting out of the bone. The decision was made to extract the loose tooth and design a bridge to span the space. We crowned the other front teeth which allowed us to correct the misalignment and cosmetically restore his smile canine to canine.

This patient came in for a consultation because he was unhappy with how his lower teeth looked. He wanted his lower teeth to match the crowns on his upper teeth. In addition to his cosmetic concerns, he is a pretty severe grinder and had worn down his lower teeth.
We made him 6 zirconia crowns that are not only beautiful, but are very strong and will protect his teeth from wear. He was so very pleased with the final result!

This patient was genetically missing her lateral incisors. Previous restorations failed to work long term. Two bridges were placed to fill the gaps and cosmetically makeover the smile canine to canine. She LOVES the new look and more permanent solution!
SPECIFIC DETAILS: About 2% of the population have a condition called hypodontia, where you are born without some of your teeth. The most common teeth that are missing are the upper lateral incisors. This patient had been dealing with flippers and poorly designed appliances her whole life. Implants were not an option due to insufficient bone so we designed two (3 unit) porcelain bridges that were permanently cemented into place. Now the patient doesn’t have to worry about their appliance falling out and they look wonderful!

This patient had her teeth broken while playing basketball. We got her into the office as soon as possible to help her feel and look better*.
Teeth are often damaged when there is trauma to the face but the fix does not have to be complicated. From chips to fully dislodged teeth, we can take care of your urgent dental needs.
*The nerves of both teeth were exposed when broken so root canals were performed to save the remaining tooth structure. Then beautiful permanent crowns were created to restore her smile!

This patient presented with multiple large cavities around existing composite fillings. Due to the size of the old fillings and decay, porcelain crowns were recommended but the patient was also given the option of replacing the composite resins. The patient chose to restore the decayed teeth with composite resin and was very happy with the results!
Phase 2 of the treatment plan will be removing the decay along the gums on her lower teeth and restoring them with tooth-colored composite resin.

Prior to treatment, this patient had crowding of her upper front teeth and fluorosis staining. As a result, the patient had been unhappy with her smile since she was a little kid and often found herself covering her mouth with her hands while talking or laughing.
After discussing smile design options, an esthetic wax up of her teeth was created so she could see how her upper front teeth would look crowned. She loved the wax up so we placed eight custom porcelain crowns from premolar to premolar. Her lower teeth were also lightly shaped and whitened to look more aesthetically uniform.
We all love the way the crowns turned out and the patient is amazed with her results!

This patient presented to the office wanting to address his broken and discolored teeth. After years of focusing on his kids’ dental health and the associated cost, he told us it was his turn to have a nice smile.
We split his dental work into two phases. Phase 1 involved crowning his upper front 6 teeth and bleaching his lower teeth (pictured). Next year he will do phase 2, crowning his lower front teeth to match the uppers. D. Baird Dental Lab did a great job making the crowns and the patient is loving the results!

This patient had all her upper teeth crowned years ago but has been unhappy with how they looked due to her noticeable gum recession. The receding gums exposed the yellow roots of the teeth and made black triangles or voids between each tooth.
We fabricated beautiful new zirconia crowns, hiding the margins below the gum line and changing the shape and size of the teeth to look exactly how she wanted. When planning a full arch crown case like this, patients have control over how they want their smile to look. We can copy a smile out of a magazine or even pattern the teeth after your favorite celebrity’s smile. Bonus: you preview a model before the final crowns are made.
This patient was ecstatic with the final results and said she enjoyed her experience!

This patient came into the office wanting options for improving the look of her front teeth. The teeth were discolored and chipping along the edges due to decay and brittleness of older teeth. She also didn’t like the space between the front two incisors that had grown over the years.
Beautiful porcelain crowns were placed on the front 4 incisors and she absolutely loves her new smile! Time for new family pictures.
If you would like to consult about options to make your smile picture perfect, schedule a visit with us any time. We can even create a wax up model of what your cosmetically restored teeth will look like when treatment is finished.
