Complete & Partial Dentures
Dentures are a removable set of prosthetic teeth used to replace multiple missing teeth. They help restore the functionality of the mouth and the visual appearance of your smile. Depending on your personal oral health needs, you may require one of two types of dentures:
- Partial dentures are used when you have multiple missing teeth but still retain some of your original teeth. Partial dentures fill in the spaces between existing natural teeth to form a comfortable and complete smile.
- Complete dentures are used when a patient is missing all their natural teeth. A denture covers the full dental arch of the bottom and/or top of the mouth. Traditional dentures are held in place by suction and dental adhesive. Dentures can also be permanently anchored by dental implants.
In each of these cases, the denture is custom-made by Dr. Low for a fully comfortable fit. We first take impressions of your mouth, and a local dental lab processes the final denture. Once it is completed, our dentist will adjust the fit and appearance of the denture until it accurately matches the contours of the mouth for the best possible results.
For more information about dentures and your options, please call our office to speak with one of our experienced dental team members. We can then arrange a consultation with Dr. Low for you.
